The Hard Facts About Cobalt Chrome

   Cobalt chrome offers a new element to the alternative metal industry.  Its platinum-look differentiates it from both tungsten and titanium.  Unlike platinum however, Cobalt is very scratch resistant.  It is more scratch resistant than titanium, but not quite as hard as tungsten.  Cobalt rings will not chip or crack, making it great for diamonds and custom work.  Cobalt chrome rings are malleable up to a half-size; however, we recommend sending it to us for a free resize. In case of an emergency, cobalt rings can be removed with a ring cutter. 

   Our rings are an alloy of cobalt and other elements which provide the platinum-like appearance.  Cobalt is also used in the medical field, if you were to ever have a hip or knee replaced chances are that the new joint will be made of cobalt.  It is a light-weight and hypoallergenic metal.
